Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder, professionally Winona Ryder was born on Winona Minnesota. The name of her parents was derived from her hometown. Michel Horowitz' father was an author and editor along with Cynthia Palmer and her mother. Ryder is a self-described Jewish has a connection to Ryder's Jewish father. Ryder has also a half-sister named Sunyata Jubal. Her younger sibling is Uria. Ryder along with her whole family moved to California's Mendocino County, when Ryder was just seven. In those days, there wasn't electricity. Ryder who read a lot at the age of 12 years old, became a reader since Ryder did not have access to television. Ryder started taking acting classes at the American Conservatory Theatre when she turned 12 years old. Her first role was a success on the big screen in 1986, when she was 15 years old. Ryder suffered bullying in the high school. Ryder hoped that her actions could bring change. Sadly that didn't happen. Still, she kept chasing her dreams. In 1988, she got her big break in Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder continued to play successful roles in many movies. In 1993 she won an Oscar Prize in the film The Age of Innocence.
