Donald Joseph Qualls better known by DJ Qualls, his DJ Qualls stage name DJ Qualls was born in the US. He is an actor, producer and model. He shot to fame after his role in Road Trip. Since then the actor has been in more than 20 films such including The New Guy Hustle & Flow or The Core. As well as appearing in Breaking Bad Supernatural, Scrubs, Lost Law & Order as well as many others. Qualls was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma around age 14, and has battled the disease ever since. The cancer relapsed after two years. The treatment, however, at such an early age left severe impact on his body and thwarted his development. As he got older, financial security seemed to be his ultimate goal as his experience with poverty had been a part of his childhood. Interviewer stated that as that he was living in such a bleak way over a period of time I required security in my finances to feel secure and at ease. He also reflects on his youth and hopes to take action on the problem of bullies. "Cruelty is a pain to me," he said. DJ's ideal role is to play a father figure in reel and in actual life. However, he acknowledges that directors don't choose me for those roles. It's a dream to be one day a parent himself, when he will be able spend more time with his career and dedicate it to his children.
