Queen Latifah

Dana Elaine Owens better known by her stage name Queen Latifah is an American musician, actress, and rapper. In film, music and on television, Queen Latifah has won the award of two Screen Actors Guild Awards (two Image Awards), a Grammy Award as well as six more Grammy nominations, and nods to the Emmy Award. Queen Latifah is the daughter of the Newark New Jersey schoolteacher and a Newark New Jersey police officer Lancelot Owens Senior was born and raised within Newark New Jersey. Latifah's parents separated when she was 10 years old. Latifah lived within the Baptist faith and attended Catholic school at Newark New Jersey.
